Hello, I am a 37 year old female. I am disabled from a auto accident and the burden of paying everything was put on my girlfriends shoulders. We are doing everything we can but have not been able to keep up. We are raising our nephew and have nothing to give him for christmas. We are loosing our home and it is being auctioned off on the court house steps on December 20th. We have nowhere to go and we do not have any money. I am asking for help. I cannot bear to see his face on christmas without any gifts. I am praying for someone to please help. I will pay it forward how ever I can. Thank you. Godbless

My husband suddenly and unexpectedly divorced me last summer 2010. I was a stay at home mom of 3 boys - now ages 7, 6, & 3. Since then, I have been looking for a job - any job! Partime, fulltime, contract, temp, etc. with no success. We share 50/50 custody and he pays $700/month in child support. Of that, $500 goes to health insurance and $100 goes to car insurance. That leaves me $100 for the month. I qualified for food stamps in KY, so food isn't an issue. However, I couldn't qualify for any other financial assistance. Gas? Medical Co-pays/Rx's? Reduced Medical Coverage-Medicaid? Misc Bills? I am desperate! I have no money and no way to get it! I'm scared to death. I have a college degree so I'm not unhirable, but am really desperate for a job or source of income/help/financial assistance. Is there any resources out there for me, short of begging on the street? ha

Im a mother of two tring to get my kids back, my ex husband is in the military and has all the means provided for him for free, so therefor its making it hard for me to get them back because i have to pay for everything out of my pocket. I recently found out i have cancer and have no insurance to get treatment. Lost my job due to surgery for the cancer and i cant seem to find work. moving forward to getting my kids back is just not working, i just keep falling into an even bigger hole. im Not tring to make you feel sorry for me or tring to take money i didnt earn from anyone, just need ideas on how i can make money fast and long term.
Check nationalsharedhousing.com for a roomate and ask your local senior citzen center too. Keep looking for the classifieds. try applying at modestneeds.com for help with rent not a sure thing but can try..

how about cleaning out apartments, house and offices just call around to ask set your rate at 10-20 hour or do an errand service?

The jig is about up for me. Ive been posting for months on here. My landlord has been a saint but he told me today he will have to make a decision about me soon. Hes been so wonderful and lets me stay here being three months behind but he doesn't want it to go any further than three months and now it has. He wants me to be able to pay a months rent by 03/19/2010 in order to stay here. Things are hopeful for me but I don't have enough to pay him. The total rent is $650 a month. I am seeking a roommate without any luck. If I had a roommate that would help a great deal cutting my share of the rent to $325 a month. At this moment I have $200 to my name which is better than usual. I have other bills like an electric bill of $80 which I know is low because I freeze to death not using the heat. I live very frugal. I am not a spender on any luxury items. I think people reading this can tell I am speaking the truth. I know I am. If I could get $300 or $400 by the 19th or before that would save me. I do have someone that is interested in my roommate offer but I hate to bring them in here when there is a chance I will be kicked out. I have been in this same apartment for the last 18 years. I'm a 54 year old single male that is not good at all with dealing with what I have to deal with. I have been selling on the Internet and looking for a job but nobody seems interested in me. I have loads of experience in retail as a buyer and manager and I have a good head on my shoulders. I kept the same job from 1987-2005 when the company closed up. I realize my needs might be frowned on here since I need money. Anyone that can help me I will give back to you whatever I can. You just tell me what I can do for you. Thanks, I love you all.
